Mr. Gilchrest, Science Instructional Specialist joined Ss learning how the brain works so that they can make better choices when they study/learn something new. Ss practiced learning games that challenged their brain - one of the most complex organs in the body! Hanover County Public Schools

1st Gr worked on how choosing the right strategy can help make problem solving easier. After rolling a target number, Ss dice to reach that target using addition. Ss discussed which strategy would allow them to reach the finish faster! Future problem solvers in 1st grade!
