Terrible indictment of our times. A very ill mum died despite phoning an ambulance & her daughter with Downs died probably through starvation. They were not found for months. Not a tragic situation it's about the breakdown of our services & communities nottinghampost.com/news/nottinghaâŚ

Horrendous... The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has published Central Government net borrowing figure for June - ÂŁ20,245m. The decline in the state of the public finances continues and Labour seems incapable of tackling it. As a comparison, the June figure in the 5 years pre-pandemic averaged ÂŁ7,833m.

Amanda Hunter Carers Trust My Mom wouldn't have put up with strangers and we didn't mind looking after the woman who brought us into the world. But "unpaid" carers (insulting term) need to be treated on a par with professionals, not like benefit scroungers. Roll on the revolution!
