#AI does not take away human jobs; what it takes away is the routine & mechanical aspects of the job while leaving your team to focus more on the creative & problem-solving part of the business. Here is an infographic by Deloitte explaining this #UptimeAI #aiinmanufacturing

In the short run, change involves risk. In the long run, not changing often poses more risk. Over time, failing to evolve is a recipe for mediocrity and obsolescence. When you weigh the immediate costs of changing, don't overlook the lasting costs of clinging to the status quo.

Thank you for sharing Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic. Love the part where you state that: ..work is not just a vehicle for productivity, but an opportunitty to have meaningful connections with others..

When people say "I can't change," what they often mean is "I don't want to change." The greatest barrier to adjusting behavior isn't a lack of skill. It's a lack of will. Motivation fuels capacity. Before you teach people how to alter their habits, they need to find the why.

Totally agree Adam Grant It’s more damaging to the relationship if you’re not honest. Because what you say is half way of what you really think and you don’t give the opporunity to the person to do something different and face what they need to change.

Great article by Heather Long and @JStein_WaPo and econ team at WaPo. To me, it points out the resilience of the US workforce and our ability to adapt, but also that "reshaping the economy" takes years. We are clearly shifting quickly to "tech-enabled service economy."

New Microsoft Research found a lot of psychological challenges with Hybrid Work, geekwire.com/2021/study-mic… and new Microsoft Teams features to respond. Pretty cool stuff. youtu.be/UK67Fg6_Sgc

It takes curiosity to learn. It takes courage to unlearn. Learning requires the humility to admit what you don't know today. Unlearning requires the integrity to admit that you were wrong yesterday. Learning is how you evolve. Unlearning is how you keep up as the world evolves.
