I have spent the morning with GMP today to see them carry out arrests relating to a violent disorder after a football match in August.

Here's a clip of my morning seeing GMP officers arrest people on suspicion of violent disorder after a Bolton football match.

Here's a snippet of Detective Inspector Tony Lunt speaking about how the operation went.

It was a chilly morning! Officers did not need to use force to gain entry into the homes. Around 50 officers were involved.

12 people were arrested today as part of Operation Alternator. Here police are seen putting someone in the back of a van to take to the station.

Here police are seen entering a home to arrest two people.

Now that I am back inside out of the cold. I can tell you that #OperationAlternator was a success. Police arrested 12 people and they have been remanded into custody. Seven in Bolton and five in Wigan. A video clip showed the brawl where fans punched, kicked stamped on others.
