#ChristmasParty I was so devastated at Christmas being cancelled. I’d seen it as a way to make up for a year of missed opportunity with my mum. When cancelled I went to Wandsworth Common at midnight and screamed loud at trees. I screamed at trees.

I appreciate my Mum who is championing LGBTQ+ rights and gently educating church leaders on the importance of making everyone feel at home. It’s a fairly thankless task I imagine but such important work.

I was thinking about Will Smith and his inevitable conversation after with his kids. He’ll be gutted i’m sure. And I know kids - they’ll say “don’t worry about it, it happens we love you” and I took a mental note on how to deal with my kids when they do something badly wrong.
