You can't talk about Yoruba history without mentioning Oyo. People who downplay Oyo often struggle to speak their own village languages as fluently as they speak Oyo. Even the Ooni of Ife primarily speaks Oyo instead of Ife. Alaafin of Oyo is the Supreme Emperor of Yoruba land.

"Asikpa" is not the same as "Asipa." Asikpa, a prince from the Benin Empire, who founded the Eko or Lagos dynasty, and every Lagos king can trace their heritage back to him. Conversely, "Asipa" is linked to the Oyo Empire; he is the 7th member of the Oyo Mesi.

The Edo people come from the ancient Idu, known as Igodomigodo, which transformed into Benin. They have existed prior to the establishment of Ile-Ife. Being one of the ancient peoples globally, connecting them to Ile-Ife, a creation of Awolowo is a grave offense against humanity.

According to the historyless Ife-centric retards and their useless Babalawo, the Nupe bronze head is theirs. Ile-Ife's people seem to rely on stealing other people's history since they don't have any of their own; let's not forget that Awolowo created Ile-Ife.

The Kingdom of Warri/Itsekiri is and persists as an extension of the BENIN EMPIRE. Despite the presence of elements that may be classified as Yoruba in the Warri/Itsekiri territory, the Royal family still holds its Benin heritage. History is something that can't be wiped away.

In the Oyo Yoruba language, a child is referred to as "Larondo," not "Omo." The term "Omo" is actually a borrowed word from Benin that Ajayi Crowther used when he created the first Yoruba vocabulary. In Benin, "Omo" means a child.

The term 'Ade' Edo/Benin language is not the same as in the Oyo/Yoruba. For instance, 'Ade-suwa' is a common name among the Benin people, where 'Ade' translates to 'Center' and 'Suwa' means 'Wealth', resulting in 'Center of Wealth'. However, in Yoruba Oyo, 'Ade' means 'Crown'.

The words "Oba" and "Omo" are originally from the Edo/Benin language. Oranmiyan, a prince from Benin who founded the Alaafin Dynasty, brought these terms to Oyo. So, whether we Yoruba people want to admit it or not, our language and culture are heavily influenced by Benin.

The new Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland was rolling on the floor like a mad man, all for Church Thanksgiving. Honestly, many of the kings in Yoruba land are quite embarrassing.

The people who are twisting the history of the Benin Empire are the Ife-centric zealots. They aren't real Yorubas; the only genuine Yorubas are us, the Oyo people. We Oyo's have no issues with the Benin people. Those Ife-centric retards are just working for their Babalawo of Ife.

Just to be clear, these are all Benin artifacts. Before the Ife-centric lowlifes tries to take credit for what doesn't belong to them, let's all appreciate the amazing work the Benin people have done for civilization. They're making Africa proud.

Some words in our Yoruba language originate from Edo/Benin. For instance, the Benin term "Oghede" refers to Plantain/Banana, which we Yoruba call "Ogede." Another example is "Ugbo," meaning farm in Edo/Benin, while we use "Igbo". Words like Oba, Omo, and Iye are also from Benin.

The area we now call Igbo land in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria was largely founded by the Benin people. Let's also remember that Ondo State and Ekiti State in the South-Western region of Nigeria were part of the Benin Empire.

Oranmiyan, a prince from Benin, established the Alaafin Dynasty in Oyo, bringing his culture, language, and traditions with him. Words like Oba, Omo, and others are originally from Benin but are now part of the Yoruba language thanks to Oranmiyan's influence in Oyo.

Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Delta, Anambra, Rivers, Bayelsa, Enugu, and parts of Dahomey were all part of the mighty Benin Empire. If Nigeria were to be divided today, the Oba of Benin would get the biggest portion since what is now Igbo land is actually property of the Oba of Benin.
