A patent application has recently been submitted by Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CSIC) related to chimeric bacterial antigen receptor proteins that provide a basis for further developments in H2020 BIOCELLPHE. Kudos to Luis Ángel Fernández !

A genetic circuit to truly control Ptac promoters with aTc in E. coli showing its potential with a T3SS...Great to see published this excellent work from the lab Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CSIC). Congrats Alex! Álvaro Ceballos Almudena Mendez-Perez Beatriz Alvarez doi.org/10.1111/1751-7…

Excellent retreat of Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CSIC) Department of Microbial Biotechnology at REAL JARDÍN BOTÁNICO with inspiring talks and outstanding invited speakers anaelenaperezcobas and Junkal Garmendia

BIOCELLPHE's research has recently been registered as a Clinical Trial under ClinicalTrials.gov. Kudos to @icsmaugeri Carlo Morasso Read more about the project here: clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06048…

Congratulations Lidia Lidia Cerdán and Beatriz Beatriz Alvarez for your great work in this paper! Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CSIC) Massive gene integrations in the chromosome of E. coli are now possible!! ami-journals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…

Revolutionizing gene libraries in E. coli! Cerdan et al present a new approach for efficient integration of large gene libraries into the bacterial chromosome to address protein toxicity & instability issues.
