سُررت بحضور افتتاح المعرض الدائم الجديد للمربية آمنة محمود الجيدة، الرائدة في مجال التعليم، والتي تعد إحدى الرموز الوطنية للمرأة القطرية، حيث لعبت الجيدة دورًا بارزًا في تاريخ دولة قطر من خلال تعزيز دور المرأة وتمكينها في المجتمع من خلال التعليم، وكذلك إرساء صورة ناصعة للأم…

فقدت قطر أحد رجالها المتميزين، الدكتور ربيعة صباح الكواري، الذي كان رمزاً في الإعلام والصحافة.
تولى عدة مناصب وكانت له نشاطات عدة في مختلف مؤسسات الدولة؛ وكان عضوا فاعلاً في لجنة تأسيس متحف قطر الوطني، كما كان عضوا في لجنة المطبوعات والنشر في متاحف قطر.
