As a registered nurse, during the pandemic I saw first hand the gaps that exist in Long Term Care. The Minister of Health Jean-Yves Duclos and I today, welcomed the new LTC standards released by @CSA_Group and @HSO_world following extensive consultations from across 🇨🇦. 1/2

These standards will ensure that all seniors receive the best care possible, no matter where they live. This builds on the measures we’ve already taken: ➡️$1B in the Safe LTC Fund ➡️$1.7B to create a minimum of $25/hr wage for PSWs ➡️$3B to support P&Ts with implementation 2/2
