He looks over at the door and then back at Ilya, before he gets up and carefully moves into the bed, making sure not to lay on any of his IVs. “This better, baby?” He asks, curling up next to him, wrapping an arm around his waist.

He rests his head on his shoulder and closes his eyes, burying himself into his skin. “I’ve missed you.”

Shane looks at him and plays with his hair, knowing he’s falling asleep. “I love you.” He whispers, making sure he’s comfortable before he closes his eyes.

He smiles softly as he hears Ilya’s breathing soften and slow, knowing he’s asleep. He stays beside him a bit longer and rests, allowing himself to calm down completely from worry.
