I absolutely loved being read to and I love reading to my kids! What are your favorites? Mine are The Legend of the Bluebonnet, Peak, Okay for Now, Wednesday Wars, There’s a Boy in the Girl’s Bathroom, and City of Ember.

What a wonderful learning filled day we had today analyzing a play for historical contexts. Ss were required to think about their thinking and the student led discussion was just amazing. West_View_School

Ss spent February digging into the Civil Rights Movement including the lunch counter protest, MLK Jrs speech, and CR activists as well as several standards. Ss also explored tribal art in art class. Super proud mama hen of these hard working fourth graders!

Mrs. Mauk and I had so much fun at West_View_School family literacy night! We played scrabble with students.

Huge shout out to the flight attendants on Delta flight 1350 out of Atlanta today. Beth and another flight attendant (did not catch his name) went above and beyond the call of duty. Exceptional service! Even in a pandemic still smiling.

This is what looking forward, into a life you never knew was possible, looks like. Happiness fits me quite nicely. 🏖♥️

This is Gretel. She’s an adventure sausage. Has been hiking twice a week for her entire life. She had a back injury a few years ago, but with the help of Trupanion, she returned to the mountains with her little sister, Summit, in no time. 14/10 #partner

Shout out to Southwest Airlines for making this plus size traveler feel completely accommodated. Love the respect and dignity flight attendants treat me with when I ask for accommodations. I have been shamed by other airlines so I do appreciate the respect.
