right now, I can't afford any situation that might drain me and bring the worst in me again. I know I can no longer recover easily as it requires too much for me, I've had enough already. I just want peace and calmness in life.

i think it’s brave that you get up in the morning when your heart aches and life is messy, and you don’t feel like being soft for the world, that you continue to love and express and open your soul, despite the way you were treated in the past.

my life has been so blessed the past few months. i have so many cool humans in my life.

Crazy how peaceful life becomes when you accept your flaws so no one can use them against you and accept who you are so no one can project who they are onto you.

most times, i’m less mad about the actions that hurt me & more mad about the principle behind those actions. what belief or value system were you upholding that led you to act in a way that caused me & my loved ones harm? how long have you believed these things were harmless?

Shoutout to the women who are doing things differently this time. To the women who are moving on and upward, not looking back, and doing what’s best for them. The women who refuse to settle and are acting accordingly, in every capacity. I hope you have an amazing day.
