All businesses providing debt solutions must put the needs of their customers first. We will continue to work closely with our partners, including Financial Conduct Authority, to better protect consumers who need debt advice.
.R3 Press Office, ICAEW, Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and ICAS met this morning to discuss R3’s BBLs FAQs, and in particular the answer given by the contributors to Q.10. A joint meeting with Insolvency Service is being sought next week.

NEW: Financial Conduct Authority is seeking views on banning debt packager firms from being paid to refer customers on to other firms. We are working closely on shared concerns in this area, and strongly believe businesses providing debt solutions must provide impartial and appropriate debt advice.
