Two occupants escape injury after the plane they were riding in crashed at the Greater Cumberland Regional Airport, Sunday afternoon. Units from Cumberland Fire Department and two ambulances from Cumberland responded to the approximately 1:10 p.m. incident.

Units from four counties (Allegany, Washington, Morgan and Hampshire) responded for a possible water rescue late Saturday evening near the Allegany/Morgan line. The subjects were located before speciality teams arrived. MSP aviation also responded to the 9:32 p.m. incident.

The Allegany County Special Operations Water Team assisted DNR in locating a car in the Potomac Monday afternoon. Chief Crippen said the vehicle had been there for an extended period of time and likely pushed from the WV side. No injuries were reported in the 2:30 p.m. incident.
