"It is the PBMs, not the drug manufacturers, who ultimately determine whether a drug is available for Virginians, and if so, how much patients pay." Check out this must-read piece from Harry Gewanter. Why is AARP quiet on #PBM reform? Cardinal News cardinalnews.org/2024/04/01/gov…

It drove me crazy when Karen Lynch claimed she was a healthcare person in her interview. She is a CPA, a suit, and she represents what is wrong with healthcare in the US. Physicians should run Healthcare entities, and Pharmacists should run pharmacies.

HokiePharm The Angry Pharmacist When are we going to take a look at Outcomes? Why are we working for them to get $5-10/MTM or $30-50/CMR when they are clearly getting paid on top of our work when it is submitted. RPhs are the only ones who work for free.

This will now need INR monitoring for patients which will increase more healthcare burden and higher chance of treatment failure as patients are more likely to skip lab tests . This is one of the reasons medicare cost is increasing YoY and its almost at a trillion dollar.

I've done 175 mtms this year, and made around $2,200. Whoever said clinical services make up for the loses in filling is full of $***. $30,000 in loses do to underpayments in the retail section.
