This is really interesting. Looks like support for #Ukraine is not perfectly correlated with dependence on Russian energy. #Hungary & #Orban still supporting Russia, though less dependent than e.g. Romania or Slovakia. Autocrats just like each other?

What's the name for the feeling when you think you are making good progress on your research, but everything you are finding is super depressing? #AcademicTwitter

This is a challenge in rural areas as well. People are building brick houses, often with PMAY/IAY. Would be interesting to see if there is a revival of mud houses as heat waves like the current ones make brick/cement unbearable. time.com/6176998/india-…

I wonder if those who attended CPAC in Hungary can get a refund after #Orban, their favorite right-wing dictator decided to take a hard left turn and tax the hack out of corporations a week after CPAC ended. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

We know a lot about how native-born individuals react to migrants. But how does migration shape the attitudes of migrants themselves? The first paper from our years-long field experiment on migration (w/ Nikhar Gaikwad and Aliz Toth) is ONLINE at AJPS ! (1/n)
