It is disheartening to see today that the strength of international law and humanitarian law no longer seems binding, replaced by the presumed right to overpower others. This is unworthy and shameful for humanity and for the leaders of nations.

The division will now be between “moderates” willing to vote the bill through with large concessions and “hardliners” who want to throw the whole thing out. It’s tough to see what’s left of the policies once watered down. Making it harder to claim PIP rather than much harder?
