What's the point of living well, surrounded by wealth and comfort, when the people, animals and plants around you live in a world of injustice and suffering?

Oloisiado met his death here — between August and December 2021, in retaliation for illegal grazing. The site, west of the Rongai Area, is known as Manjani Chai: headwaters of the Noonkerenini (stream of metals), flowing into the Olkeju Rongai River. Months of research led here.

Olobor was slain by a Maasai spear on the night of 25th or early hours of 26 Jan 2024. His remains — only tufts of his magnificent mane — were found on the morning of 27 Jan 2024, on the bank of Noositeet Stream, Tipilikwani Plain, Maji ya Fisi.
