As if doing the art in windows NMFestivalArts is not enough excitement, I'm absolutely thrilled to be exhibiting in "Eight Miles from Home" with 11 super talented artists 25-26th Sept at the beautiful Spring Bank Arts Centre in #NewMills!

Yes there is a link between Bolton & New Mills! You can get there on the train! Lovely to be working with Platform 5 community gallery for New Mills Festival this year!

Really happy to be showing some of my photography in this group exhibition that’s part of the New Mills Festival. The exhibition is at the Spring Bank Arts Centre on the 25th & 26th of September. I’ll be showing a mix of work with a focus on landscapes of the Peak District.

New in our Cromford Mills bookshop, Ben Nicolson’s 2 part monograph on Joseph Wright. This scholarly work propelled our local boy to his rightful place as a pre-eminent artists chronicling the transformation of society. My favourite is his 1785 painting of the new Cromford Mills

The historical 150 year old Pavilion Gardens in Buxton is undergoing more restoration work, so there is lots of scaffolding! But we are still open! 😀 The St. John's main entrance is now open again aswell! Do come & visit we are open 7 days a week 9.30 - 4.30 Pavilion Gardens
