Very sad day yesterday with Jayne Goodrick
saying farewell to our DrDr (😊)Wendy Mitchell 🙏🏽💕
A lovely service at a lovely venue, very proud of Sarah & Gemma x❤️👏🏽👏🏽
Still doesn’t seem real to not see & chat with her again,a big loss to many, many people x
RIP lovely lady 💜😞
It was great talking about how #PrimarycareOTs can give that early health and work OT “vaccination” to keep people thriving at work… just need to see this approach rolled out more widely at the front door of healthcare, rather than when problems have escalated

Yesterday saw the completion of our 3-year project to explore #intergenerational #codesign of #digital #health #technology to promote #health yAgeing. A huge thank you to all who supported us!
We’ve made some valuable contacts along the way. Follow Centre for Health Technology to keep in touch
Our two OT students designed a seed ball, nature based activity to do with the volunteers on this cold and rainy day as part of their split placement with New Leaf Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Excited to see how they grow! organicARTS Charli Kennedy
I particularly loved the presentation on doing, being, becoming and belonging in forensic/justice by Charlotte French OT - I would love to introduce this more formal framework into our community forensic service. I think it would really boost the understanding of occupational therapy.
Session on integrated neighbourhood working. 2% of practice pop use 20% appointments. Older man kept coming to the GP surgery, OT home visit revealed he couldn’t access his garden- rails provided, now he can garden, talk to neighbours + stay active #PrimaryCareOTs #PCNetwork
DrDr (😊)Wendy Mitchell Shocked and very sad for you both but not surprised at your Mums strength 💕🙏🏽
She will be so very missed, RIP my friend, I won’t have a mug but I will have a hug put to one side when we meet again x
DrDr (😊)Wendy Mitchell 🥲
