I love this year 9 lesson on emotions, and watching the different outcomes develop. Watching the pupils with the excitement of new media, experimentation and the freedom to explore. Art at its best when you can play and have fun whilst producing high quality work.

‘Journals of Joy’. I’m going to give my Y6s one on 1st Dec, everyday in Advent they can add something that’s given them joy that day. On Christmas Eve they can hang it on their tree.🎄It’s filled with folds/pockets & embellishments all made from scratch inc dyeing paper & sewn.

Stunning artist research by Year 9. The art dept corridor exhibits examples of excellence from different pupils every week. It definitely creates some great responses by other pupils. We have included teacher feedback and grade to give more information. What creativity& skill.
