Yesterday was the closing night of the 3rd Edition of Matatu Film Stage Uganda, and what a beautiful evening it was. 🌍💛
We had a full house, great energy, and so much excitement about the films that screened. The atmosphere was full of love for cinema. 🍿🎥

🎬🍿 The Matatu Film Stage continues to feed the masses with cinema. Under this edition’s theme, Cinema is food, but people are starving, we return to the streets and spaces where films truly belong. These screenings are made possible with the support of France in Uganda 🇫🇷🇺🇬

🎬✨ The Matatu Film Stage London Edition lands at Rich Mix on 27th and 29th March 2026. Tickets are £10 per day. Across two days, expect curated film screenings, a panel conversation, and a live VJ session inspired by East Africa’s bibanda (Video halls) cinema culture.
