Almost every Pastor I talk to is deeply discouraged, overwhelmed & having serious doubts about longevity in ministry. Ministry is hard at the best of times, but these are excruciating days for leaders. Unnecessary criticism could do irreparable damage right now. Be kind.

There is a lot for us to learn, I believe, from how these two people were able to be "best buddies" (as RBG said) while they passionately disagreed about so many things. They both modeled a civility and a respect for one another that is sadly lacking in our culture today.
