Liberals have always claimed that humanity is most important, and nothing should come before it, and we all agreed. But as I watch human lives & values being destroyed, met with silence, I’ve realized: when they spoke of ‘humanity,’ they meant only certain people—not everyone.

I’m really sorry to hear about the attack on our Hindu brothers at a temple in Brampton. It’s encouraging to see Hindu leaders unanimously condemning the incident. However, if Muslims were suffering oppression and our Leaders condemned these acts, why are they often silenced?🤔

To analyze differences between Shīʿa and Sunni perspectives and the historical context. One MUST consider Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) as infallible. Viewing the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) as a Maʿṣūm, presents history in an entirely different light. 🕯️

Back then in Medina, raising a black flag at one’s house indicated that someone had passed away. But peace be upon the door of al-Zahrāʾ (س), which was burned until it became blackened by fire. 💔 #ایّام_فاطمیہ

If a man is corrupt, he will damage any role he takes on, whether it’s a preacher, politician, police officer, lawyer, or ruler. The role itself isn’t to blame; it’s the person who abuses it, destroying trust and staining the reputation of the profession.

Sometimes we care for people who, if we died, wouldn’t attend our funeral on a rainy day, too concerned about wet clothes or dirty shoes. 🕊️

Those butchering Shīʿa in Parachinar are the enemies of humanity and truth. Their cowardice in targeting the innocent reveals their moral and spiritual bankruptcy. They will face justice, if not in this world, then on the Day of Judgement. The oppressed will rise. #Parachinar

Do those claiming to follow the Qur’ān and Sunnah behave like this? Storming the Holy Shrine of Lady Zaynab (س), looting churches, and entering the Haram of Bibi Ruqayya (س) with their boots on shows they respect no religion, no sanctity. Actions speak louder than claims. #HTS

Growing up Shīʿa, we’d turn off the TV during Muḥarram, as it was a time of mourning, not entertainment. Now I see kids scrolling through reels outside the Majlis, forgetting the purpose of these sacred days and the grief and dignity our elders once upheld. #Muḥarram 🏴💔

I wonder how jobless our youth have become. What are reels giving you? Nothing! Just gossip, distraction, & laziness. Open a book: Fiqh, ʿAqāʾid, Tārīkh, Ḥadīth, Akhlāq. Find your genre! Don’t oppress your soul. What you read today may save you tomorrow, here and in the grave.

It hurts watching friends ready for Karbalā’ while I’m here. Not for lack of will, but life’s demands. It’s more than missing the walk; it’s the pain of not being blessed with the Ziyārah of Abā ʿAbdillāh (ع). Heart keeps praying. ʾInshāʾAllāh next year. لبـیـک یـا حـسـیـن

Watching the news on X without learning not to generalize people can make you hate whole communities, no matter their age, race, gender, or religion. That’s why education matters before taking in what’s happening around the world. Indeed, every community has good, bad, & ugly.

Whenever we went to our Ḥawzah in Qom using the elevator, there used to be a notice in Persian inside that read: “Have you recited Ṣalawāt today for ʾImām al-Mahdī (عج)’s quick reappearance?” I tried this in India, placing the same message in a Shīʿa-only building:

Sometimes you see some people in the community, jumping up and down over a concept, ready to fight for something they have absolutely no basic knowledge of. Uncle, please! Don’t embarrass yourself. Sit down. 🤦🏻‍♂️

As Ayyām al-ʿAzā will come to an end soon. Let’s ask ourselves: What did we truly learn? Did we grow in understanding or did these days turn into a marketplace where we trade Laʿnat back and forth within our own community? 💭

When life feels full of problems: Take a moment to pause and look at the root cause. Many of our problems appear when we move away from the guidance of the Ahlulbayt (ع). When we set aside their wisdom for our own shortcuts, it’s only natural that we find ourselves in trouble.
