When schools closed on 23 March there were 967 cases and 46 deaths. Yesterday there were 53,135 cases and 444 deaths.

Been in contact with several teachers that I've worked with over the years. Some have been told to stay home; some have cited Section 44; some have chosen to go in; some are unsure. However, every single one is upset and angry about the impossible position they've been put in.

Good luck tomorrow to all of my friends who are teaching online, creating their own videos, re-planning all the stuff they already planned over Christmas and looking after their own kids too.
