The climate change discourse fixates on carbon, yet ignores the vital role of water in regulating climate and influencing weather patterns. The work of Australian Soil scientist Walter Jehne reveals how Earth's hydrological cycle acts as a master regulator of our climate

Meatpacking used to be a stable, middle-class union job, with multiple generations of families working at the same plant. In 1960, the industry was 95% unionized, paying wages that were comparable to those in the auto and steel industries. Meatpacking was skilled labor. A

Last fall we planted some wheat in rows. Plan is to plant 15” soybeans and hopefully let the moisture dictate when we terminate. I’m hoping I can let the wheat grow a little longer and not overwhelm the beans like rye does.

Wheat on 30” rows Beans on 15” rows Planted nice not having to contend with cover crop. Hope to let the wheat keep growing to suck up moisture and act as drain tile for the soybean. 30” row wheat should allow more light to beans
