I’m supporting Jeremy Corbyn in this election and I urge everyone who believes in decency and fairness to do the same. He will be an independent voice in parliament arguing for the kind of world I’ve always believed in. The way Starmer is acting has been a disgrace.

For some time Labour’s political management has been characterised by overreach and hubris. Finally it has blown up into a general election news cycle because Diane Abbott is objectively a major figure with wide support and sympathy.
