I pine for the day when UX research is no longer sold as a way to “validate” the designs of products or services. This thinking limits what teams deliver. Going down this path just to get a foot in the door creates so much extra work later on to break away from it.

This was taken while on vacation in Tenerife in 2015. I got the exposure wrong and it came out all grainy and dark, ancient looking. We try to catch a fleeting moment with a picture and then use it as a point of reference for traveling back in time. Who were we then?
