Boris has just told us in the NHS to work harder. This made me cry. Nurses already work 12.5 hour shifts & dont always get their unpaid breaks, often working past their shift. So what will working harder look like to you Boris Johnson ?

Ok we’ll bite. This is a surgical area (away from all the COVID which is putting us under so much strain). The bed opposite may be empty as many operations have been cancelled (as our beds are occupied by COVID). Or because there’s a bed but not the nurses to staff it.

Daily Mail thinks NHS staff shouldn’t be allowed annual leave during the pandemic?! Well, I’ve just had 2 weeks off I got to see my kids faces light up at Christmas, bug my sisters & hug my parents Working for the NHS is our job. Not our moral obligation. We’re human too!

When at the start of the week the medics think you're an absolute weirdo for saying things like 'got loads of sputum- so satisfying', and then by the end of the week we've converted them and they're also saying similar things😇 #respisbest

Thread about an NHS hero: Yesterday I was in the town centre with my kids and saw a walk-in vaccination centre. Been meaning to get the kids jabbed but it's only just been 12 weeks since the 8yo had Covid, so was planning to do it in the holidays. But we were there, so why not?

It’s been announced that BBC Strictly ✨ are going to have a wheelchair user this year. I’ve just sat, honestly close to tears, as I’ve scrolled through the ableist comments about how wheelchair users are not welcome on the programme but also in general society.
