Current treatment for anal cancer is essentially a ‘one size fits all’ dose of radiotherapy. Results from ACT 3,4,5 show reducing the dose and duration of radiotherapy may result in fewer side effects. This ‘smarter kinder approach’ could lead to more tailored treatments 🔬
