A new MMWR finds that 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine are 91% effective against MIS-C in kids 12-18, a post-infection inflammatory syndrome. None of the vaccinated kids hospitalized with MIS-C required life support, compared to 39% of unvaccinated kids. cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/7…

May turn out that one major reason Omicron *appears maybe, say, 50% milder than prior variants per case is that we already let the virus spread enough to find and kill 50% of the highest risk people. So, ya know, half of the most at-risk targets are currently “unavailable.” 🤭
