There is *nothing* it.

At >98% things darken, the sun almost blotted out (with glasses).

At 100%, I saw something truly immaculate. I thought of our ancestors who must’ve stood in awe, having no idea what to think. I felt an unexpected kinship with them.

The eclipse cycle is 18 years, 11 days.

So, the same eclipse this Monday last occurred in 2006, though offset around 1/3 of the globe’s circumference.
