Beautiful Trumpets of Death Mushrooms. My opinion is they do not look edible or tasty... However the facts are they are edible, healthy, meaty, smoky, and really gross looking. They grow at the base of hardwood trees, not on the tree, nor it's dead wood, but the spaces between.
