-8 ORB fitting on the jiffy-tite is 3/4-16. 1/2-14 NPT thread is loose enough at the top of the taper that despite the difference in TPI the o-ring still seals. Adapted to the garden hose with a $6 fitting from Lowe’s and bled the engine heater I built in about 2 minutes🤓
