Yesterday, while I was showing off my veggie garden to my mom, a hawk the size of a Thanksgiving turkey swooped into the pecan tree, grabbed a squirrel, and flew over the house to the 30+ ft oak tree in the front yard. My mother looked at me and said, “Save the squirrel!”
