A Pak NFT project generated $91.8 million this past weekend. The big sale took place not in an auction house but on the online platform Nifty Gateway artnews.com/art-news/news/…

Merge is a single artwork distributed across many tokens, not a collection of artworks. Because without the whole, the tokens that make this artwork don't convey a narrative. They're pointless pebbles.

Been away from Twitter for a day and I miss THIS. What an honor Del✖ 🙏 The Token keeps surprising us! "Look, mom! I'm on an NFT! 1:00!"

Think about NFTs as a "Standard for Proof of Ownership". Arguments that NFTs are nothing new and that digital collectibles have existed for decades fail to recognize one of the key 3 points: 1. Traceability to the creator 2. Provability of the trace 3. Widely-adopted standard

Debating whether or not NFTs are art is similar to debating whether or not papers are art. An NFT, like a paper, may be used to make art. It's a medium. Let's start by asking the right questions.

Don't oppose Elon running twitter (at least compared to status quo), but I do disagree with the more generalized enthusiasm for wealthy people/orgs hostile-takeovering social media firms. That could easily go *very* wrong (eg. imagine an ethically-challenged foreign gov doing it)

So exicting to be part of this! Presenting SATP at IETF114 Philadelphia and participating at IETF115 in London have been some of the highlights of the past year for me!
