I found a useful little trick when recruiting players. Normally, after the Fateful Reunion, the player leaves, and you have to find them again at their initial location. But if you open the Data Files, then exit the menu *from a different tab*, they will stay right there.

btw you don't have to personally relate or completely feel represented by a story to feel moved and delighted by it
