A team of New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation Forest Rangers is in Los Angeles to help battle the wildfires devastating the area. Today we had the honor of assisting the CBP as they escorted their fallen colleague, Border Patrol Agent David Maland to the airport. Agent Maland lost his life in the line of duty Monday while serving in the State of Vermont. We must never forget his sacrifice.
