I don’t understand the hate people have for homeless people or addicts. I always think of how they were once kids with dreams and most likely still do. They definitely never imagined their life that way or truly want to live like that. Have some compassion and give a few dollars.

No immigrant has taken your job. You were laid off by a capitalist who required cheap labor and took advantage of that immigrant to increase his profits, and nothing makes him happier than to hear you blame the immigrant and not him.

Whenever you hear about the provincial surplus in Alberta remember to take a look at the suffering in our City streets in the form of addictions, mental health, & homelessness. One can only hope the province is ready to reveal a plan to address this needless human misery.
