no plan for Covid, no plan for health care, no plan for the economy as it effects all but the wealthy, no plan for education, no plan for infrastructure and despite their claims to the contrary, no plan for law and order – only for “order”, at the expense of law.

Based on their advance media, the Republicans are about to unveil what is sure to be a deceptive crock of b.s. - b. s. gilded with Trumpian gold and designed to rally the emotions of the most vulnerable and ill-informed Americans.

To quote Maya Angelou, “people show you who they are, believe them”. Forget what Trump says and watch what he does. He is a charlatan, a con man, and the evidence is everywhere. Trump and his camp place the protection of their power and authority over their obligation to us.

This is about more than Trump. Their convention is sure to remind us how much worse it can get as the face of America continues to change. Uneasy years lie ahead no matter who wins. That’s why it’s so urgent that our President be more than an emperor with no clothes.

. I believe that Joe Biden will easily win a fair election. I also believe the system is still strong enough to resist the inevitable wrinkles that will be thrown into the process. But it won’t end there.

I urge everyone to watch this convention. Witness what history books will one day use to reference whatever eventually happens to this country. Become aware of every attempt to mislead voters or skew the contest. Remember, they have 3 options: lose, quit or change the game.
