It was great to explore University of York’s library archives at the Borthwick institute. I really enjoyed delving into the past to learn about Queen Elizabeth II’s 1965 visit to York. A special thanks to We're not here anymore - formerly @UoYLibrary for all the help, and The Yorkshire Post for providing an amazing image!
i started out in student radio, so it’s GREAT to get loads of University Radio York presenters on to BBC York tonight - loads of passion and great ideas, would highly recommend a listen to some fab talent… cheers to William King for organising + Mary Atkinson on production
It was great speaking to Vitalina who is currently studying for her Masters degree University of York. We discussed adjusting to student life as an international student as well as the current Ukrainian situation. 🇺🇦
Thrilled to have been nominated for Best Interview at #SPANC23. Vitalina has had an amazing impact on the Ukrainian community at University of York. My interview discusses the founding of the Ukrainian society and Vitalina reflects on the past year after Russia’s invasion on Ukraine.
Great to be back at the BBC in sunny Media City! After working with BBC York and BBC North East, I’m excited to learn lots from the BBC Manchester team 💜 #Manchester #Salford #Mediacity #BBCNews #Journalist
Interesting day at the #LabourConference2024 listening to Angela Rayner. It was great to watch Alex Forsyth give live updates for BBC News (UK) during the first day of conference.
