When I visited Redwoods Treewalk of Whakarewarewa Forest, I found an excellent example of engaging forestry education. 🌲 @treewalknz provided bite-size information, acknowledged industry history, and importantly showcased present innovation and the exciting future. 🪵

Super interesting tour of Huka Prawn Park today! 🦐 The only geothermal-heated prawn farm in the world! They grow tropical prawns in New Zealand, and open their doors to the public to come and learn about aquaculture! Currently undergoing renovations, so Photo 3 via Huka Prawn Park.

A crowd of 600 gathered for the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final Evening Show in Hamilton tonight. 🇳🇿 George Dodson, 23yr dairy farmer, from the Tasman Region and Darfield Young Farmers Club took out the 56th Young Farmer of the Year title, crediting his father. 👏
