In 1965, the Catholic Church had 179,000 sisters in America. Today: 33,000. That's an 82% collapse in 60 years. Priests have declined as well, but not as severely. 59K down to 35K. Used to 3 Sisters for every priest. Now it's 1:1.

Mahayana Buddhism is hemorrhaging believers. Pew quotes (1) Korean woman as saying, "I've always thought it's better to live focusing on this world. That's why I don't have a religion"

One in four people raised Muslim have left Islam, which means that all polls of Muslim opinion substantially understate the degree of Muslim immigrant assimilation since leaving Islam is a type of assimilation. In my post today I document how big this bias...

The sample of US Muslims who left Islam was *77 PEOPLE* If you look at the underlying data, Muslims are a little unusual: exceptionally conservative, but those who leave are extremely liberal. Pew has shown that many US ex-Muslims are Iranians who left the Islamic Republic -

Glaube da muss auch Soziologie und Kommunikationsforschung herangezogen werden. Denn die neue Form politischer Meinungsbildung macht andere Bevölkerungssegmente im Staat wirkungsmächtiger, die durch Demagogie verführbarer sind.

Weird little data point to consider. Gen Z atheists are WAY less angry about religion compared to older atheists. Only 30% of Gen Z atheists say that religion has no place in the modern world. It's 55% of Boomer atheists.
