Absolutely love Zouk for its products (happy customer here) as well as its vision. A fine example of using business for good & benefiting both artisans & art! The quality, distinct identity & signature aesthetic will hopefully help maintain an edge. forbesindia.com/article/startu…

A browser recommendation for this Fortune India article made me further appreciate this amazing paper on the emergence of the Modern Indian Art category...for anyone interested in how art critics, art historians and auction houses wrought the category of Modern Indian Art!

It's Thanksgiving and a month of me being at UVic Gustavson School of Business to work with Prof. Diego Coraiola. Thankful to Mitacs for the GRA and an opportunity to be in a wondrous city and campus, among warm people, and engaging in research and discussions in a nurturing environment!

If you have any documents related with Indian Business History, do consider IIMA Archives as a potential place to keep it for posterity.

"Joy is supposed to slither through the cracks of your imperfect life that’s how joy works You cannot invite her you can only be ready when she appears And hug her with meaning because in this very moment, joy chose you." (Donna Ashworth) A poem on joy for a portrait of joy!

#Colonial #History in my palm! Found this beauty at the fantastic Russell Books. Published in 1904 or soon after. It's in pristine condition despite having had a few owners and travelling to Wisconsin, Oxford, Vancouver and Victoria over the yrs. Truly #preloved! #book #books

Agenda for the next 3 days! The 2nd edition of the History Lit Fest😌Being live-streamed on various platforms in case you didn't make it to Pune like me...

Eat and let eat! No words for how amazing this History Literature Festival session was & the longue durée covered. The paradox of an ever-changing entity as food also becoming reified as identity is fascinating! Only history can help us realize what Mr. Dalal said - All food is political!

#HistoryLitFest2024 2 days on, finding myself thinking of, discussing and assimilating ideas and insights from the fest...on food, music, method, Indian business houses, princely states and more...a sure sign of success for such an endeavour when ideas outlast the duration!

'The overriding aim should be to shed more light rather than heat on the issue.' Glad to have attended this to learn about ascent-cruise-descent structuring in op-eds, simple clear writing, using personal viewpoints, saying something new & clarity on locus standi! #writingtips
