Love the pause button feature on Desmos! My kids had a Hexa-Trex Desmos warm-up and most kids got up to difficulty Level 2 and I paused them on this fun one-- one of the kids was "stressed" out because he almost solved it before I paused it!

Todays thinking task was the “how many 7’s?” A lot of good discussions on double/triple counting 7s!! Since I did splitting 25 yesterday, I laughed at the “infinity if you include decimals response”🤣🤣

Forgot to take a couple of pictures for todays task (adding 13….61). Most of them got 1776 and they were soooo close but forgot about the 37 in the middle!

Today’s task was “how many squares are there in a 4x4 grid” Most of them got the correct answer and I challenged them with 5x5, 6x6, and nxn….. they understood the pattern but only a few could translate it algebraically for an nxn grid!

Operations with complex numbers using #VNPS. Each group got a card and simplified their expression. If they got it right, I gave them another card but told them another student must write on the board!
