Clamshells all day won’t get you back to pain-free performance. Hammering heavy lifts and explosive drills without fixing the root issue won’t either. You need an approach that bridges the gap between rehab and high-level performance—or you’ll stay stuck.

Get into the top of a push-up. Are your pecs actually engaged, or are your shoulders doing all the work? Weak pec activation = more neck & shoulder strain (if you don’t already have it).

Place your hands on the sides of your lower ribs. ➡️ Inhale through your nose. ❌ Feel nothing or only slight movement? Your breath is restricted. ✅ Feel expansion 360° around (front, back, and sides)? That’s real, functional breathing.

Lifting heavy isn’t the problem. Your 💩 movement patterns are—big external loads (pause) just make them more obvious. Fix your movement first, THEN progressively build strength. You’ll be shocked at how much stronger (and pain-free) you are when your body moves the right way.
