⁦CLEAN Carwash Worker Center⁩ supported workers to denounce wage theft at Classic Castle Carwash. Today we disbursed $229k for unpaid wages recovered by a new lien tool. This recovery was possible because workers did not give up and monitored the ER alerting us to a sale among the owners.

The Worker Education & Resource Center’s (WERC) Preparing Los Angeles for County Employment program, supported in part by California Workforce Development Board HRTP funding, trains & places participants into permanent, union, FT Los Angeles County jobs. As one participant put it – “this is a golden ticket”
