Finished watching this in less than 24 hours. My best first watch of 2024! Highly recommend watching this if you are like me and want to make informative dietary choices. Also, a very cool study looking at the effects of vegan and omnivore diets on identical twins! Stanford Medicine
The new co-editor of Theory & Society believes that sociology moved away from “science” because of “the changes in the demography of sociology." In other words, it became less white and thus less scientific. This makes me think of chanda.bsky.social prescod-weinstein’s notion of white empiricism.
Ended an interview today and the informant said "I'm so grateful that you're doing this, and that you have the courage to do this. It's the fact that you are giving this whole issue the respect of studying it." Safe to say, it brightened up my whole day! Academic Chatter™
