Sectionals time! Match against Fremont tonight.

The season has ended for most of our team tonight with a 2-3 loss in sectionals against Fremont. Our 1 doubles team played a great match and won in 2 sets, so they will be continuing their post-season run!

Currently up 4-0 vs. New Haven. 1 doubles entering into a 3rd set. Wins at 1,2,3 and 2 doubles so far. #purpleup

Angola Tennis came in 3rd out of 8 teams today at the Dekalb tournament. Aiden and Cooper finished 2nd, and all other positions finished either 3rd or 4th. #purpleup

Tough loss versus a solid Dekalb team. Came close on second sets for all of our singles, but couldn't quite squeeze out a win. 0-5. Next up is a solid East Noble team tomorrow and finishing our busy week with Leo on Thursday.

Two tough losses over the past two days. This is always our toughest week of matches playing DeKalb, East Noble, and Leo. We lost both matches 2-3. We showed up and played pretty well, we just didn't match up with the opposing teams. Next match is next Wednesday at Fremont.

Angola came out on top today vs Canterbury and Adams Central. Haven and Aiden, our 1 and 2 singles went undefeated, our 3 singles and 1 doubles both won matches. Everyone played well on a hot Saturday. 7 hours of tennis. One week of regular season left. #purpleup

Yesterday wrapped up our regular season match play. We ended finishing 4th in both the conference tourney as well as regular season conference play. Haven Stockamp earned all conference and Aiden Buchanan and Cooper Bacon both earned honorable mention! Sectionals start Tuesday.
