We have to look at some of our building regulations as arbitrary. Why does a building have to have 20 ft setbacks that run up the entire length of the building preventing balconies? Why do we regulate the facade of a building? WHO DECIDED FLOOR AREA RATIO WAS GOING TO BE A THING?

I refuse to use "market rate" and "affordable" to describe housing anymore. They are basically just propaganda, and the public does not understand what they mean. We should instead say "normal" housing and "wait listed" housing, to accurately reflect what they are.
